I am a relationship counsellor who has a passion for helping people create healthy loving relationships with themselves and others. I focus on a person’s individual power and responsibility in the relationship so they can choose the behaviours that most suit their value system. My influences include John and Julie Gottman, Terry Real and Dan Siegel to name a few. Some frameworks that guide my practice include Acceptance and Committment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.
I strive to maintain a non-judgmental stance in my practice, actively working to prevent my own history, culture, and upbringing from influencing my judgment of clients' lifestyles. At the same time my practice is guided by a set of beliefs, attitudes, and ideals aimed at fostering relationship health. I have come to these beliefs through research, study and listening to a lot of experts talk on the subject. I am committed to identifying and addressing unhealthy or abusive patterns of behavior when they arise and then helping clients challenge those behaviours in their lives.
I am a registered Clinical Counsellor with PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia). This means I adhere to strict professional standards and ethical frameworks, ensuring a high level of care for my clients.
To maintain my registration, I meet the following requirements:
✔️ Qualifications – I hold a Bachelor of Human Services (Counselling).
✔️ Ongoing Professional Development – I complete a minimum amount of training and education each year.
✔️ Supervision & Accountability – I engage in regular professional supervision.
✔️ Insurance & Compliance – I am fully insured to practise.
I hope this gives you peace of mind and confidence in booking a session with me.

The length of time it takes to see results from counseling sessions varies depending on the individual and the issues being addressed. The biggest thing to note is that you will be putting in the work so your improvement relies on how much you want to change.
Boundaries and Bridges provides counselling services for individuals or couples over the age of 16.
Unfortunately, counselling is not covered under a MHCP. However, after you shop around you may find that psychologists regularly charge a gap similar to or higher than the costs of seeing a counsellor such as myself.
I am limited in what I can and will say to legal professionals. If you would like I will write a letter saying that we have been meeting and give a breakdown of the sort of topics we have covered. However, I cannot give personal assurances of your ability to implement these practices.
